Petite Modeling Tips for Using the Internet To Get Ahead

Typically there wouldn't be a chance for short models without the Internet, or at least it wouldn't be so easy to call yourself a model. These days you can download a photo on a website like onemodelplace, imodel, modelmayhem or musecube and in moments become a model, but having a photo on a free Internet modeling website is only a baby step towards getting legit modeling work.

Here are 5 tips on getting ahead by using the Internet as a petite model.

1. Be careful which photographs you download and show. It might be intriguing to only put sexy or bikini shots up, but by doing this you limit your audience and resume. By audience and resume I mean, if you are using the Internet to market yourself you need to show your diversity not just one side to your modeling ability. If you have only bikini photos up and no headshots or smiling shots, you wont be considered for commercial print or lifestyle or editorial work.

2. Be honest and up front with your goals. Don't work with photographers who don't have any goals if you take modeling seriously. Make goals, say " I want to be a in a magazine in a year." Then focus on that goal and the type of magazines that might be easy access to getting inside of.

3. Finding a magazine. If you are 5 foot there is still a magazine out there for you. Consider these types of magazines because modeling is more than Playboy and Vogue.
Craft Magazines, Knitting Magazine, Bridal Magazines, hair magazines, Home and Garden type of magazines, furniture magazines, travel magazines, trade publications like the lingerie magazines, beauty business magazines, luxury magazines,...see there is a lot more than just high end fashion.

4. Have a point when you shoot, rip out magazines samples, style the hair, the clothing, the makeup, think deeper about your shoots because your images will sell you. They speak without words about the type of model you are...and most importantly about where you are going.

Just because you are short, petite, or curvy doesn't mean you can't model. But be realistic. You might never be a supermodel, but you can enjoy making some nice extra cash as a model and gain some editorial, commercial, and magazine and editorial work along the way and maybe meet some great friends too.

Ecourse Training - Increase the Size of Your Business With Your Ecourse

Did you know an Ecourse is one of the best ways to add to your current list of subscribers? Keep this in mind, subscribers, above all else, are the best group of potential buyers you could ever get.

If you have some sort of online business, what you need to make it work is someone to buy what you're offering? You can do it the traditional way: Create a product, put up a website and hope people will find it THEN hope that the people who found it will buy something from it. That's a lot to "hope" for with a traditional online business, that's for sure.

Why not throw some "bait" in the internet waters, so to speak. Do you feel it's to your advantage to dangle something in the internet water for your client to nibble on before they buy from you? If you're looking for repeat buyers, you had better believe this is a great thing to do.

Offering a free Ecourse to someone is a way for that person to "nibble" without eating, if you're following this analogy. If they like what they nibble on, they'll come back for more and eventually buy.

Your online business is totally dependent on who finds your stuff on the internet. Ask yourself if someone would be more interested in getting your stuff if they could test it before they buy it. Of course they would. Why wouldn't they? The internet is full of free content, why would someone buy something when they can get it for free? Simple, because they know-like-trust you. Once that feeling happens, you have converted your subscribers into clients, which is what you wanted to begin with.

So, the bottom line is, you can increase the FEE part of your business by increasing the FREE part of your business, which means you'll be making more money, which is why you're in business to begin with.

And now I would like to offer you free access to tips, techniques and strategies to develop or expand your E-Course. As a BONUS, you'll get free templates to design your E-Course. Whether you're experienced with E-Courses or not, http://www.TheEcourseGuru.com will give you what you need to "kick it up a notch." Visit http://www.TheEcourseGuru.com for your instant access.

Web Copywriting - Planning Beforehand Makes Your Website Sell

This article explains and illustrates the basics of good web copywriting. It outlines the basics that are involved in creating good web based sales copy and also outlines that major components that you should have in place before you even start writing your copy. This articles gives you an a,b,c strategy that you can follow to create effective web copy.

When most people start writing copy for their website, they go straight into it without much thought at all really. They sit down with their copy of microsoft work open on a blank page, and start to 'write' copy for their home page...

We are xxxxx we are have been established for xxxxx years. We have xxxxx staff.

You will have seen hundreds of sites that start out like this in your lifetime and im willing to bet that you have clicked the back button when you have seen over 95% of them. This happens because you go to these sites looking for something and it doesn't scream at you straight away:

"you're in the right place, you searched for xxxxx and we have xxxxx for the best prices on the internet. read on to find out more..."

OK this is maybe an extreme, over the top example but this is what you must achieve wwith your copywriting. You have to hook users as soon as they arrive at your site by grabbing their attention straight away. There are millions of sites out there and the next one is, afterall, only a click away.

The problem with the first approach to copywriting is that there is no plan in place before the person actually starts writing the copy. This isn't an insult aimed at people trying their hand at writing their own copy, far from it, I'm simply making the point that the majority of people start to write copy without a plan in place for:

A) What keywords they want the page to rank for.

B) What the benefits of the service are that they are trying to sell.

C) What is their unique selling position (USP).

D) What action they want the user to take and how they will convince them to do it.

I would like to suggest an A,B,C - er D way of creating effective web sales copy that anyone can follow. Even I can do it!

A) First of all get yourself a blank piece of paper and write on it the keywords and key phrases that you would like your page to rank well for I suggest up to 3 closely related key phrases. Once you have done this underline your main target key phrase.

B) Write down all the main benefits of using your product or service. Generally people buy benefits, not features. So what if the electric wood saws you sell operate at 50,000 RPM? You should be telling people that it cuts wood twice as fast, doubles the amount of wood you can cut and increases your profits by 35% in half the time. Im sure you get the idea!

C) You need to find you USP - why is your product or service different from anyone elses. Why should someone buy from you? Is there something that your service has that no-one else can match?

D) Once you have converted your internet users into interested customers you need to have some strategy in place for closing the sale. This can be as simple as prompting them to make an enquiry using an email form or telephone number or alternatively it can be asking the user to buy a product using ecommerce.

Conclusion:

By getting organised and spending 10 minutes beforehand you can create an effective roadmap on paper, which will guide your copywriting. It will force you to think about the main marketing elements that make up good search engine copy: target key phrases, product / service benefits, your USP and your strategy for closing the sale. Get organised today and use your time as efficiently as possible by structuring your copy and remember to make sure it is functional and does the main thing - SELL!

Secrets About Online Marketing Surveys

One of the best ways for those in online marketing to find out about current demands of the market and what your customers or potential customers are looking for is through a well designed survey. Forget the once popular method of one question surveys. Those types of surveys are not going to help you really understand your customer base. Keep in mind at all times that the purpose of the survey is to get a better understanding of your customers and potential customers in a concise and effective manner.

Right now you need to put yourself in the shoes of your customer. Don't make the same mistake that many marketers do by thinking that if you just find out the most important reason behind the customer's search you are going to make a sale. Maybe the customer tells you the most important reason behind the search is to see if Yorkies are kid friendly. Simply telling them yes is not going to make a sale. What you need to do is understand the customer, learn about their fears and frustrations. What are their concerns and problems? You need to be able to address those issues, convincingly to make a sale. To do this you need a properly constructed survey.

What is the best way to survey your list? The best way to survey your list is to personally invite them. Pick up the phone and tell you them are conducting a survey and would like to email them the link for that survey. They can fill it out at their leisure. The survey is completely anonymous and shouldn't take them more then 5 or 10 minutes. Let them know the benefit the survey will provide them.

How many questions should be asked in a survey? Take the time to think about your questions. Choose your words carefully. Make sure you are using both closed ended and open ended questions. Use more closed ended questions then open ended so that your customers don't get bogged down answering questions and then get out of the survey. You aren't going to want to have more then 25 questions in your survey. About 75% of the questions should be closed ended questions.

How do you get customers to respond to requests for information? The best way to get people to take your survey is to offer them something for taking the time to fill out the survey. Yes it's only 5 or 10 minutes, but how likely are you to take that time out of your day just to help someone that wants you to continue to buy from them? Offer them a discount coupon on their next purchase, or you may consider paying them for taking the survey. But be sure to offer them something for their time and input if you want to increase the response rate. With those surveys in-hand your online marketing business is one step closer to success!

Online Shopping - All You Will Ever Need

With the invention and advancement of the Internet, the retail shopping industry has been changed forever. With people getting increasingly tech-savvy, they are able to avoid crowded malls, traveling distance, parking hassles and long queues. They do not even have to carry their items home themselves, as most stores on the Internet provide a delivery service.

In the past few years, retail companies have also been encouraging digital shopping by having a virtual store on their websites, and introducing discounts that are only available via the store. Virtual stores and festival discounts encourages customers to do more shopping via the store and people actually end up buying more.

Before the introduction of the Internet into the retail industry, catalog sales were the only method through which people could do their shopping without leaving the comfort of their homes. Choices of items were limited to catalogs that were subscribed to.

Nowadays, it is even possible for whole families to do their weekly grocery shopping via the Internet. Using online supermarkets like Wal*Mart, you can buy anything from vegetables to mp3 players. If you have something to sell, like a car, you can choose to take up a free advertisement with popular classified sites like Ablewise.com

The singular biggest advantage of digital shopping is its flexibility. Online stores are open 24/7, 365 days a year. If you are trying to surprise your partner in Valentine's Day, it is that much more convenient and simpler to shop digitally than have to physically find an item in the mall. Of course there are disadvantages with this method, with the biggest being security. However, there are numerous ways to ensure that what you are buying and where you are buying it from is secure and safe. If you are careful enough, online shopping will definitely be the only type you do in the future.
